ADM for Building Materials was appointed as the specialized contractor responsible for the design engineering, material procurement, fabrication, and structural installation of the skylights, tensile canopy structures, and high-performance curtain walls.
Designed to optimize natural daylighting while insulating against Egypt's thermal solar heat gains, ADM engineered a custom steel-framed skylight matrix covering 2,000 square meters. The project integrates advanced structural glazing systems with precision sealants, meeting rigorous ISO, EN, and ASTM structural integrity and weatherproofing compliance standards.

1. Skylight Steel Trusses (2,000 m²)
Utilizing high-tensile Q355B structural steel members treated with multi-layer anti-corrosion primers and fluorocarbon topcoats. Engineered to safely carry dynamic wind loads, dead loads, and thermal expansion forces across wide-span atrium areas.
2. Tensile Roofing Membrane
High-grade PVDF-coated architectural fabric offering UV stability, flame retardancy (Class B1/ASTM E84 standard), and self-cleaning surface capabilities for extended service life under intense desert solar exposure.
3. Structural Glazing Wall (170 m²)
Double-glazed Low-E tempered laminated glass panes bonded with structural silicone sealant. Provides low U-values, superior sound attenuation, and an unobstructed aesthetic facade for commercial retail storefronts.
